This article provides a comprehensive review of the development of ways to

effectively use degraded and eroded pastures in highland areas. Compilation of the list of areas

of degraded plots and their location on topography maps, including mandatory instructions on

prevention of degradation processes and elimination of its negative consequences. The article

presents the methods of analysis and creation of a list of existing infrastructure objects in the

areas where measures for the restoration of degraded and eroded pastures are implemented.

These methods allow for the use and protection of pastures, as well as the identification of areas

for orchards and vineyards in mountainous areas, and the planting of seedlings and other

agricultural crops, and independent actions and results are shown here. The article assesses

the importance of these methods and how they can be developed to ensure efficient and quality

management of degraded and eroded pastures in upland areas.
