Abstract
This article discusses climate change and its impact on warming temperatures, changing precipitation, increasing the frequency or intensity of some extreme weather events, and their impact on the food we eat, the water we drink, and the air we breathe. It highlights that the air we breathe poses a threat to human health. In particular, the sensitivity of mountains to climate change, their impact, and the resulting changes in the health of mountain and foothill populations are analyzed.
