Abstract

This article presents the results of geodynamic monitoring of the Shurtan gas field using global navigation satellite system (GNSS) data. Measurements were conducted at nine sites between 2022 and 2024, revealing horizontal ground displacements at rates ranging from 22.41 to 36.55 mm/year. The greatest deformations were recorded in areas of intensive hydrocarbon production, indicating a relationship between changes in gas production and tectonic activity. The study results confirm the significant influence of anthropogenic factors on the stress-strain state of the earth's crust and emphasize the need for continued systematic monitoring to minimize risks to infrastructure and the environment.
