In recent years, systematic measures have been implemented in our Republic to improve land and water relations, in particular, the application of a simplified procedure for optimizing agricultural land areas and their distribution, the effective use of irrigated arable land and the organization of rational placement of crops, the introduction of modern market mechanisms, innovations, as well as energy-saving technologies in the use of land and water resources. The article highlights the current state of irrigated lands, analyses the use of land and water resources. In accordance with the territorial characteristics of the agroecological state of irrigated lands, an assessment map was created on the basis of geographical information systems, which allows determining the level of the agroecological state of the territory and given recommendations for their implementation.
