Abstract

This article discusses the improvement of geobotanical research on pasture and hayfield lands based on digital technologies. A comparative analysis of the traditional method and the approach based on the “GeoPasture” mobile application was conducted. The results showed that the use of digital methods increases the efficiency of fieldwork, reduces time and labor costs, and accelerates data processing. In particular, the time required to study 50 thousand hectares of pastureland decreased from 28-35 days to 18-20 days, while the area covered by one specialist increased from 4,166.7 to 7,142.9 hectares. The obtained results have significant scientific and practical importance for the rational management of pasture resources.
