SAMARQAND AGLOMERATSIYASI RIVOJLANISHINING ASOSIY XUSUSIYATLARI

The article analyzes the territorial and geographical features of the formation and development of the Samarkand agglomeration. The demographic potential of the agglomeration, its transport and communication system, economic integration and urbanization processes were assessed based on an integrated approach. Functional relations between the city of Samarkand and adjacent territories, as well as regional development trends, were highlighted. The results of the study serve as a scientific and practical basis for improving transport infrastructure, optimizing territorial planning, and ensuring sustainable urban development.
