Abstract

This article analyzes the scientific and practical foundations of monitoring cultivated areas in Syrdarya region using monitoring data and information obtained through Sentinel-2 satellites. The study employed remote sensing methods, statistical data, and information from the “O‘zdavyerloyiha” State Design and Research Institute, along with analyzing precise numerical results based on inventory works carried out by the institute in 2024. Scientifically-based suggestions and recommendations were developed according to the issues identified through the monitoring process.
