Abstract

Urbanization in Uzbekistan significantly affects the socio-economic development of the country, requiring effective management of limited land resources for sustainable infrastructure growth and environmental protection. The use of geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing methods allows analyzing changes in the urban environment, identifying key trends and developing forecasts, which contributes to more informed decisions in urban planning and spatial planning.
