Today, issues of ensuring the safety of territories are of great interest not only in our country, but also abroad. It consists in improving the structure and information support of the state land cadastre by obtaining safety indicators for territories where objects with man-made risk sources are located. This article describes the definition of protection zones and their formalization using power transmission lines as an example.
