This article analyzes the implementation of food safety legislation in our country and issues of their improvement, as well as the legislative experience of foreign countries on this issue. As a result of the analysis, proposals aimed at improving the organization of mechanisms of prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of legislation on food safety and their legal basis are substantiated.
