This scientific article comprehensively analyzes the economic and geographical characteristics of the use of land resources in economic sectors. The study covers the territorial distribution of land resources, their interrelation with natural and climatic, demographic and economic factors. The efficiency of land resource use, the level of territorial differentiation and priority areas of rational use of land funds in agriculture, industry, transport and services are substantiated. Special attention is also paid to the issues of ensuring environmental sustainability in the use of land resources, preventing land degradation and improving territorial planning mechanisms.
