Abstract

The article describes the mechanical composition of meadow soils common in the Shavat region, and shows that those used for irrigation differ in mechanical composition. The region has more average loamy soils, accounting for 42% of the total area. Depending on the mechanical composition and structure of the layer, it can be divided into 6 main groups: 1) sandy; 2) sandy loam; 3) light loam; 4) medium loam 5) heavy loam; 6) clayey. Meadow soils consist predominantly of particles measuring 0.05-0.01 mm, followed by particles measuring 0.1-0.05 and 0.01-0.001 mm, that is, they are microstructured.
