Abstract
The article analyzes the amount of absorbed bases in irrigated light gray soils of the Central region – Mirzachul and Samarkand oasis and the Southern region – Surkhan-Sherabad valley, as well as the amount of exchangeable cations (Ca+, Mg++, K+ , Na+) in the soil absorbing complex. Weak solonetzization was observed in light gray soils of the central region. It is concluded that these cases are directly related to the composition of salts in the parent rock of the zone and the processes of hydromorphism.
