This article highlights the work carried out to establish water protection zones and coastal buffer strips along the drains belonging to the "Katta Zovur Ortaobod" MTB in Qiziltepa district, in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 981 dated December 11, 2019. The study made use of orthophotos and cartographic materials, as well as field observations, based on which the boundaries of water bodies were revised and electronic digital maps were developed. [5] As a result, water protection zones and coastal buffer strips were identified and entered into the state cadastre database.
