Abstract

The issue of improving the health of the population of the Jizzakh Region should be considered in close connection with the region’s demographic situation, environmental conditions, level of socio-economic development, and the capacity of its healthcare infrastructure. At the same time, the article reveals that issues related to maintaining both social and individual health largely depend on natural, social, and anthropogenic environments. Scientific analyses indicate that population growth in the region, the high proportion of rural residents, and the impact of certain environmental factors are increasing the burden on the healthcare system. Therefore, improving public health requires a comprehensive, systematic approach that takes into account the specific territorial characteristics of the region.
