The article presents the study was to examine the acute toxicity of the Rubia Tinctorum L. root dry extract on white mice. The animals were divided into two groups: control group, which received purified water, and experimental groups, which were administered once intragastrically the R.Tinctorum L. root dry extract in doses of 

500, 1000, 1500, 2000 and 3000 mg/kg.
