СОВЕРШЕНСТВОВАНИЕ РАЗВИТИЯ ОТРАСЛИ ГЕОДЕЗИИ И КАРТОГРАФИИ В УЗБЕКИСТАНЕ

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to show the history of the development of geodesy and cartography, starting from the creation of the Supreme Geodetic Directorate on March 15, 1919. This article describes the chronology of the creation of the geodetic service of the independent state of Uzbekistan and its development, describes the first experiences of using aerial photography and photogrammetry to create topographic maps. An analysis of geodetic equipment and technologies has been carried out since the formation of the geodetic service to the present. The enormous contribution to the development of cartography of Uzbekistan by the Tashkent Cartographic Factory, which was founded on January 13, 1934, is described. It is noted that today analog aerial cameras (AFAs) and analog methods for creating maps are almost completely forced out of the market, and digital methods for creating plans, maps and orthophotos, in turn, have taken a strong position, and all this is due to the high level of development of modern geodetic, cartographic technology and technologies in the field of geodesy and cartography of Uzbekistan. The prospects for the further development of cartography are determined by the continuous and rapid growth in the use of maps and the increase in their role in the national economy.
