This article discusses the climatic conditions of sandy desert soils common in Uzbekistan, the main plant species common in the region, shrubs, semi-shrubs, rough-stemmed plants, ephemera and ephemeroids, annual herbaceous plants, conditions for the rational use of pastures, the system of pasture use, the influence of grazing in various norms on the vegetation cover of pastures, the influence of cattle grazing on sandy pastures, data on signs indicating the degree of degradation are given
