The rapid development of agriculture, industry and urbanization in river basin landscapes changes the vegetation cover and geomorphological features of natural landscapes and leads to their anthropogenic transformation. Rapid anthropogenic transformation of landscapes requires reducing the rate of landscape change and implementing it in sustainable directions. This article analyzes the anthropogenic transformation of landscapes, the changes between the morphological parts of the landscape as a result of the transformation, the driving forces of anthropogenic changes, and the scientific and theoretical basis of researching the landscapes of river basins
