Abstract
This article explores the potential of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing technologies in improving the methodology for monitoring agricultural lands in Karakalpakstan. Considering issues such as land degradation, soil salinity, and water scarcity, the integration of satellite imagery, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and GIS provides effective solutions for precision and organic farming. The study highlights the role of GIS in managing spatial data, land use planning, and real-time monitoring of agricultural conditions. Additionally, the advantages of UAV technology for collecting highprecision data for crop health assessment and soil analysis are discussed. Despite certain challenges, such as limited access to technology and technical expertise, the article emphasizes the need for investment in research, education, and infrastructure. As a result, the implementation of GIS-based monitoring systems can contribute to sustainable land management and increased agricultural productivity in Karakalpakstan.
