Based on the results of soil and geochemical studies, the chemical composition of soils in the right-bank forest-steppe Angara region is characterized by the example of the Bokhansky district. The prospects for further research include a deeper analysis of certain aspects of the socio-economic development of the district, such as the introduction of innovative technologies in agriculture, the development of small businesses and attracting investments
