Abstract
The article will deal with water-soluble salts contained in sulphurous-meadow soils, the influence of groundwater on gypsum formation, and the participation of gypsum neoplasms in soil formation. The theories of several scientists about soil salinization and gypsum formation can be seen on the example of this area. It is shown that formation of gypsum soils depends on the order of moistening and depth of groundwater table.
