Abstract
This article describes the scientific research on using remote sensing data to determine crop types, their boundaries, and the creation of a crop sequence geodatabase of arable lands of irrigated agricultural lands of the Surkhandarya region. In order to determine the types of crops, the dependence of crop type development phases to their NDVI indicators was identified. The method of determining the boundaries of crop areas was developed using the Edge Extraction Canny algorithm of eCognition Developer software. The creation of a geospatial database of crop sequence was carried out using ArcGIS software.
