The following article uses comparative examples of historical processes to reflect the first mistakes made in irrigation agriculture in the first years of Mirzachul development. In the process of settlement of various ethnic groups, the causes and consequences of violations jf the ecological environment, waterlogging and salinization of the earth are revealed. Factors cjntributing to the spread of various epidemiological diseases that are becoming a dangerous region for human health were also studied. Prospects for improving soil fertility, preserving biological diversity and increasing attention to them are highlighted
